In April 2007, NinJo 1.2.5 was delivered and is now used at the DWD operationally.
The following features have been implemented:
Stabilisation of memory usage
A better handling of memory and data caching makes NinJo more stable. Users can monitor the memory in a status bar in the client
Surface layer: new symbols for automated stations
Nnew fonts for sigwx and extra symbols for wawa (automated reports) ware added.
New DWD products in the radar layer
For the DWD, new radar products are available (PX, PE, PH, PY). Meteorologists profit from these products within the warning process.
The PH product (which comes in every 5 minutes!) contains the precipitation amount of the last 60 minutes.
The PY proudct contains the precipition amount of the last 24 hours.
